Hitting a new road, in a moonless night
You'll never give up, even when they block the way
A frame so perfect, for such a defect
Would be so soothing, to have a rest before the end
To be the first king, then made a servant
Always harking back, to that time of free comfort
Bloodthirsty madness, over a best friend
Prime intelligence, that couldn't be delivered
A midnight question, till the gates of dawn
But whom do you ask, as the candle's almost off?
One trajectory, for so many doors
Satellite of hell, searching for the saving grace
Trya focus on the most important
The latest battle, saving someone else's soul
Showing loyalty, to those caught by pain
Some kick back with you, as soon as you turn your eyes

When all things get dark, misreading the signs
Poisonous ideas, you should get... rid of
Two furious armies, fighting each other
Trying hard to find, predictions on the long term
Earning your own wings, from rags to riches
You carried the weight, all but the life you planned first
Hidden enemies, nibbling at your days
Ornery liars, in their predicament rooms
An impetus to some reliability
Tempering the dream, with a new reality
Thorny ways into despicable vanity
Gambits all the day, will we know the full story?
A broken chain's noise, that got out on their weakness
Cheating all the time, they squeeze you until you're down
Some victims look out, while others prefer to wait
If this is God's will, another chance - a better day

I don't know what it is, but in DWTD's discography this record really stands out to me. Picking a favourite track is difficult because all of the songs sound incredible to me, but POISON is probably the most fresh and energetic song in my opinion. zWarhead
